Ordering online

You design your suit in the Suit Builder on makistailor.com (or choose a ready-to-wear piece), enter or select your saved measurements, and pay in full in US dollars through Whish Pay. Makis' Tailor then makes the garment in our Beirut atelier and delivers it — within 1–3 days anywhere in Lebanon, or worldwide by tracked courier.

The Suit Builder lets you compose your suit piece by piece: the cloth, the cut, the lapels, the buttons and the lining, with a live preview as you go. When the design is ready, you attach your measurements and place the order. If you prefer deciding with cloth in hand, you can also book a fitting at the atelier and design it with us.

Take your time — you can fine-tune your design in the Suit Builder for as long as you like before ordering. Once you order, we keep your design and measurements on file at the atelier, which makes reordering easy — a second suit in a different cloth is a quick message or visit away.

All prices on makistailor.com are in US dollars (USD) — always, for every product and service, with no second currency and no conversion at checkout. What you see on the page is what you pay.

Website orders are paid in full at the time of ordering — there are no deposits or pay-later options online. Full prepayment is what lets us cut your cloth immediately and hold our 1–3 day delivery promise within Lebanon.

Yes. If you have a coupon code from Makis' Tailor, enter it at checkout and the discount is applied to your total before payment. Coupon codes are issued by the shop itself — for offers, follow @makistailor on Instagram or ask at the atelier.

Measurements & fit

The site walks you through it step by step: each measurement has an illustration and a short instruction, and all you need is a soft measuring tape and five minutes — ideally with someone to help. Take measurements over a fitted shirt, not thick clothing. Your measurements are kept on file with your order, so you only do this once.

Yes. We keep a measurement profile on file for each person — yourself, your spouse, your children — each under its own name. When ordering, simply tell us who each garment is for. It's how one parent can order ceremony suits for three kids in one sitting.

Bring it back, or contact us, and we adjust it. Our fit adjustment policy is: To be confirmed. Because your measurements are saved on file, we also correct your profile at the same time, so the next order fits from day one.

Delivery & shipping

Finished orders are delivered within 1–3 days anywhere in Lebanon — Beirut and beyond. That covers ready-to-wear pieces, completed made-to-measure orders and alterations. You can also collect from the atelier at Sect. 07, Str. 02, Bld. 012, Bourj Hammoud, Beirut during opening hours (Mon–Fri 7:30–18:00, Wed until 19:00, Sat 7:30–13:00, Sun closed).

Yes — Makis' Tailor ships worldwide. International orders leave Beirut by courier as soon as the garment is finished, packed to arrive pressed and ready to wear. Transit time depends on the destination, and every shipment travels with door-to-door tracking. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

Yes. Every shipped order gets a courier tracking number, sent to you by email as soon as the parcel leaves the atelier. For local deliveries in Lebanon, we can also update you on WhatsApp at +961 3 517197 if you prefer.

Payments & refunds

Online orders are paid through Whish Pay, a Lebanese payment provider. At checkout you are taken to Whish's own secure payment page, where you complete the payment using the methods Whish offers; once Whish confirms it, your order goes straight to the workshop. All payments are in US dollars, in full, at the time of ordering.

Yes. Payment happens entirely on Whish Pay's own secure page — makistailor.com never sees, handles or stores your card or account details. We only receive Whish's confirmation that the payment succeeded, together with your order. What we keep on file is your designs, measurements and order history — never payment credentials.

Our refund policy is: To be confirmed. Because bespoke and made-to-measure garments are cut specifically for you, they cannot be resold, so remedies for fit issues are handled through adjustment or remake rather than return — see the fit question above. For any payment issue, contact info@makistailor.com or call 01 242 576.

Appointments

Book directly on makistailor.com — choose a date and time for a consultation, a measuring session or a fitting at the atelier, and you'll receive a confirmation and a reminder before the appointment. You can also call 01 242 576 or message WhatsApp +961 3 517197, and walk-ins are welcome during opening hours (Mon–Fri 7:30–18:00, Wed until 19:00, Sat 7:30–13:00, Sun closed).

Yes — we come to you for measuring sessions and fittings within To be confirmed. Home visits suit busy schedules, wedding parties gathering in one place, and corporate sizing days at your office. Request one through the booking page, or arrange it on WhatsApp at +961 3 517197.

Yes. If you're abroad or simply short on time, book a video consultation: we discuss cloth, cut and style on screen, guide you through measuring yourself at home, and answer questions before you order. Video consultations are booked through the same appointments page as atelier visits.

Weddings & wedding parties

Yes — it's one of the things we're known for. The site has a dedicated wedding party feature: create a group order, invite the groomsmen, and each adds his own measurements to the shared order while you keep the design decisions in one place. We coordinate cloths, fittings and delivery so the whole party is dressed, matched and ready together.

We recommend placing wedding and group orders 2–3 weeks before the big day. Individual finished garments are delivered within 1–3 days in Lebanon, but a wedding party involves several garments, coordination and — ideally — an unhurried final fitting for the groom. Later than that? Call us on 01 242 576; we have rescued more than one wedding.

Absolutely. Each groomsman joins the wedding party order online from wherever he is, measures himself with our step-by-step guide (or books a video call for help), and his suit is made in Beirut with the rest. We then deliver locally in 1–3 days or ship his suit to him abroad by tracked courier — whichever suits the plan.

Alterations & express

Nearly everything with a seam: shortening and lengthening sleeves and trousers, taking jackets in or letting them out, adjusting shoulders and waists, replacing linings and zips, re-cutting inherited suits, and refitting dresses and coats. Bring the garment in, or book an alteration on the site and describe what's needed — we'll confirm what's possible before any work starts.

For alterations that can't wait — tomorrow's interview, this weekend's wedding — bring the garment to the atelier before To be confirmed and it's ready the next day. Book the express slot online or on WhatsApp at +961 3 517197 so we can reserve the bench time; express work gets the same hands and the same standards, just moved to the front of the queue.

Yes, gladly. Most of our alteration work is on garments bought elsewhere — designer suits, off-the-rack jackets, dresses, coats. A garment doesn't need our label to deserve a proper fit. We'll tell you honestly if a piece isn't worth the cost of altering, and what we'd do instead.

Corporate & uniforms

Yes — work uniforms and corporate wardrobes are a long-standing part of the atelier: hotels, restaurants, offices, clinics and crews. Request a quote through the site with your quantities and requirements; we advise on cloth and design, size each employee (at the atelier or on site), and deliver in batches on an agreed schedule. Minimum order: To be confirmed.

Yes — embroidery is done in-house. Send us your logo file with the quote request; we digitise it once, match the thread colours, and keep both on file so every uniform batch comes out identical. We embroider on garments we make and, in most cases, on garments you supply.
